Good Vibrations

There is a lot to be said for good anxiety.  I find that it happens to me more often and I am happy to see it.  People often ask me if I get nervous before I speak.  Well of course there is a tinge of nervous, but I am passionate about speaking and it is an exhilarating boost to my ego that people are willing to listen to me share some great value messages with them.  I call this good anxiety or good vibrations.

Internal Ignition

Ladies and Gentlemen Start Your Engines.  I was doing some work this morning and remembered that I had promised a good friend that I would send him some information that I had put together regarding Leadership.  As I was looking through the information prior to sending it, I found some really good stuff.  I forgot that it was so inspirational.  I started reminiscing about the importance of quality leadership.  That is what has always inspired me.

The Real Deal

OK I am finally in the actual Google Blogging Site.  I have been remiss in writing my blogs in my word doc and then just copying it into my blogging site.  This is an incredible break through for me.  Technology has not always been my strong suit, however, with a little prodding from my Internet Therapist, I am now able to function at a slightly higher level than yesterday.  I call that a success.

Sleepless in my Pajamas

Have you ever had some of those nights where you were asleep, then all of a sudden you weren’t asleep and you became wide awake?  I am again having one of those nights.  Rather than fighting to try and get the additional sleep, I decided to go ahead and let the eyes wide open win.  It is better to put this wide awake energy to good use so I decided to get up and work on the computer.  Rather than search the internet for funny dog videos, which I truly love, I decided why not be productive and blog about redirecting my energy to a productive venue.

Meaning it!

I recently retired from a very long and wonderful federal career.  It paid the bills and I did what society considered normal, I earned a pension, and now I am to live happily ever after.  I had a hard time of seeing retirement as the end of my career.  What I have come to realize is that it is the beginning of a new journey for my life.

Octopuses Garden

If I had 8 arms then maybe I could get everything done that I wanted to.  Sometimes it is OK to say NO.  I heard a term today on the Steve Harvey show.  A college student said she was afraid of FOMO.  When Steve asked her what that meant, she said “fear of missing out.”

Head Games

Have you ever started to question yourself over what decision you have made or where you are going in life?  I am here to tell you this is not odd or unusual.  We often go through self-examination which sometimes brings out self-doubt.

Road Blocks

Have you ever had a day where you seem to continuously be faced with obstacles?  I am having one of those days.  After giving it some thought I am trying to look at this as different opportunities to make other adjustments and just move forward.  The key is to continue to move forward.

Baby Steps

How do you eat an elephant?  One bite at a time.  Today I found that there was quite a bit that I was able to accomplish.  I was keeping a mental note of small things that I wanted to remember to do.  Even though it was somewhat scattered, I was able to collect my thoughts and do just a few things that were in the direction of organization.
